Description
HYLJE Hopeahaalari (Silver Overall) is a free spirit of the HYLJE -family. Shiny silver overall became familiar in 1980s when a Soviet missile flew into the lake of Inari and the reporters arriving to the scene needed warm clothing. Space-like overalls saved the reportage of the operation and kept the reporters warm. Today, known as Kaamasen Kansallispuku (National Costum of Kaamanen) Hopeahaalari has been re-produced.
Silver grey retrooverall has black and red details and it has been manufactured respecting the traditions using current materials. We can quarantee wearing this will make you the shiniest star of the slopes and Afterski!
The material is soft, therefore it has a nice touch and is slightly lighter than the fabric of HYLJE Xtreme. A thick wadding makes sure Hopeahaalari keeps its user warm even in the coldest weather. The sizing of the overall fits well for finnish bodytype and thanks to its wide size range, different bodytypes can be fitted in to this overall.
The overall is easy to try on as it has elastic waistband and detachable suspenders inside which also helps the overall to stay up when you want to take the upper part off indoors. The front zipper is two-way with wind protective, button-down front placket.
HYLJE Hopeahaalari has a mid belt with quick-release mechanism, but it also has space for own belt. Cellular plastic located on knees and bottom and taped crotch seam are proven to keep the user warm when sitting on a snowmobile or by the campfire. Snow gaiters at bottom leg and button-adjustable stamps makes the leg trousers compact around long-shafted winter boots. Long, two-way zippers on trouser legs help to put on the overall even when boots on.
The detachable hood with faux-fur trimming has a adjustable drawstring and soft lining inside. There are four pockets with zipper fastening outside and one inside pocket. All zippers are eqquiped with long pull tabs that are easy to use even when gloves on. D-rings located on waist are for the snowmobiles emergency switch or just to hang small items on them.
